How to use — 3 simple steps

  1. 1

Copy the TikTok URL on your computer

Open TikTok in your browser, right-click the video, and copy the page URL. Or click Share and copy the link from there.

  2. 2

    Paste into TikSaver

Visit TikSaver, paste the URL into the input field, and click Download Video. The video info will load in a few seconds.

  3. 3

    Save to your computer

Click the download button on the result. The browser will save the MP4 file to your Downloads folder.

What you see on PC (Chrome or Edge)

  1. The TikSaver page shows the paste field center-column; **Download Video** sits directly under it.
  2. When the file is ready, Chrome flashes a **download** arrow in the top-right toolbar — click it to **Keep** if Windows SmartScreen asks.
  3. Press **Ctrl+J** (Windows) or **⌘+Shift+J** (Mac) to open the browser’s download list and confirm the `.mp4` filename and size.
  4. In Edge, the same flow uses the **Downloads** hub (Ctrl+J); your system **Downloads** folder is the default path unless you changed it in Settings.

Useful captures: Chrome download bubble with “Keep”, and File Explorer / Finder Downloads sorted by Date Modified.

Browser download folders on Windows and Mac

Desktop browsers stream the finished MP4 straight to your default download directory. On Windows that is usually %USERPROFILE%\Downloads; on macOS it is ~/Downloads. You can change the target folder in each browser’s settings if you prefer an external drive or a project directory.

  • Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and Safari are all supported
  • Batch downloads back-to-back work best when downloads are set to “Ask where to save” off
  • Antivirus real-time scanning can slow the first open — that is normal

Why use TikSaver

  • Works on Windows and Mac

TikSaver runs in Chrome, Firefox, Edge, and Safari on both Windows and macOS.

  • Easy file management

Downloaded files land in your Downloads folder and can be moved, organised, or backed up like any other file.

  • Batch download multiple videos

Switch to Batch mode to paste multiple TikTok links at once and download them all in one session.

Troubleshooting

  • Browser blocked the download

Click the download icon in the toolbar and choose “Keep” or “Allow” if Windows SmartScreen appears.

  • File goes to wrong folder

Open browser Settings → Downloads and set the correct default path.

  • Video unavailable

Confirm the TikTok still plays in an incognito window without logging in.

  • Slow processing

Corporate VPNs or proxies may throttle media; try a direct connection.
